摘要： BACKGROUND:Inemergencyconditions,theactualweightofinfantsandyoungchildrenareessentialfortreatments.TheRAMATHIBODIPediatricEmergencyDrugCardorRAMAPedCardhasalsobeendevelopedtoestimateactualweightofthesubjects.ThisstudyaimedtovalidatetheRAMAPedCardincorrectlyidentifyingtheactualweightofinfantsandyoungadults.METHODS:Thisstudywasaprospectivestudy.Weenrolledallconsecutivepatientsunder15yearsofagewhovisitedtheemergencydepartment(ED).AlleligiblepatientsactualweightandheightweremeasuredatthescreeningpointoftheED.TheweightofeachpatientwasalsomeasuredusingtheunlabeledRAMAPedCard.TheCohenskappavaluesandagreementpercentageswerecalculated.RESULTS:Duringthestudyperiod,therewere345eligiblepatients.TheRAMAPedCardhada61.16%agreementwiththeactualweightwithakappaof0.54(P<0.01),whiletheagreementwiththeactualheighthadakappaof0.90and91.59%agreement.Sub-groupanalysisfoundkappascoreswithgoodrangeintwocategories:incasesofaccidentsandintheinfantgroup(kappaof0.68and0.65,respectively).CONCLUSION:TheRAMAPedCardhadafaircorrelationwiththeactualweightinchildpatientspresentingattheED.Weightestimationininfantpatientsandchildrenwhopresentedwithaccidentsweremoreaccurate. ... （共5頁）
